Dr. Latif Nurudeen DPM, AACFAS
Foot and Ankle Surgeon
Dr. Latif Nurudeen is a native of Texas, growing up in Friendswood a suburb of the Houston. He attended Baylor/University of North Texas on a full athletic football scholarship. He majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry earning his Bachelor’s degree with honors. He would then complete his medical education at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated with honors.
After receiving his doctorate he underwent 3 years of residency at the New York Harbor Healthcare Veterans Hospital undergoing intensive training in comprehensive foot, ankle and lower leg surgery. While in residency, Dr. Nurudeen trained extensively in foot, ankle and lower leg surgery, with an emphasis on traumatic forefoot, hindfoot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Nurudeen has extensive training in Total Ankle Replacement and Charcot reconstruction, while continuing to further his education and attribute pearls acquired from continued education courses.
Currently Dr. Nurudeen specializes in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery utilizing minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Nurudeen continues to attend surgical courses to keep abreast of the latest surgical techniques and innovations.
He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as a proud member of the American Microsurgical Orthoplastic Society (AMOS). Dr. Nurudeen enjoys watching Baylor and University of North Texas sports and spending time with his family.
